Rob Thurston
Director of ZWC and Cycling Enthusiast
Originally from America, having trained and practised as a lawyer, it has long been Rob’s dream to retire to the UK and open a cycling shop. Cycling is his passion – he has over 40 years of experience behind him, the past 11 years of which have included participation in the 80-mile BikeMS ride in New Jersey (US), the 102 mile RideLondon 2023, and the London-to-Brighton Ride 2023.
“Having been a serious cyclist for many years, including participation in long distance events, it is fair to say I know a few things about cycling. I am also active in the Zwift and Strava communities and am keen to share the benefit of my experience. I’m also a coffee fanatic.”
Vicky Heaton
Director of ZWC and Zero-Waste Enthusiast
Having trained and practised as a teacher for many years, Vicky is also a keen advocate of sustainability. She enjoys cycling for leisure purposes and as a means of transport. Together with Rob, she campaigns for a future in which cycling plays a greater role. She is also keen to promote cycling for fitness purposes.
“I believe in making the way we live more sustainable for future generations and zero-waste is the goal we are working towards. My personal goal is to fix up my bike and make it to Brighton!”
